Checking fines using the MOI mobile application

To check traffic fines with the Ministry of Interior mobile app, follow the steps below:

  1. Download the MOI Mobile App from Google Play or App Store.
  2. Select your preferred language.
  3. On the home page under Most used services, tap Traffic fines payment.
  4. Tap Start service.
  5. Login or register with your details.
  6. In your profile, you will see your current traffic fine.
  7. You may opt to pay with your credit card or e-Dirham card.

Checking fines with the RTA mobile application or RTA Online portal

To check fines using the RTA App or RTA Online portal is really easy. Just follow these steps:

  1. Download the RTA Mobile App from Google Play or App Store or log into the RTA official portal
  2. Fill in the required fields.
  3. Tap or click Submit.

The Ministry of Interior website can be used by all UAE residents with regards to traffic fines and other services. But another option is downloading a mobile application for the police system in the emirate you stay, for example: Dubai police, Abu Dhabi police, Sharjah police etc. By downloading the mobile app of the emirate you are staying in, you can proceed to access the service by filling in your details.   • Visit any relevant police authority in your emirate
  • Visit the office of the official road traffic authority in the emirate you reside
  • Call the MOI on 8005000 
  • Email Ministry of Interior at moi@moi.gov.ae
