Where to do Medical check for UAE residence visa in Dubai
What is a medical checkup?
Medical check-up is a necessary step during getting UAE residency. It has to be done after receiving your entry permit, also known as entry visa.
If you got a job in UAE or did company setup in UAE, you will need this guide to do your medical checks correctly.
Medical checkup consists of 3 blood tests: Hepatitis B, TB and AIDS plus an Xray.
Together with the medical check you need to apply for Emirates ID in order to get your residency process completed.
It’s easy to get confused between different Medical centers. All free zones have their own rules and requirements on where the Medical tests can be made.
In case you do the tests in the wrong medical fitness center, the free zone or the immigration authority will not accept your health report. You will either need to attest to it at the Ministry of Health or do another one.
Business setup consultants in Dubai can help you with your medical checks and Emirates ID applications by accompanying you to the medical centers and ID authority. They can carry out a full visa procedure on your behalf for yourself and your family.
Step-by-step process to do medical check, apply for Emirates ID and do fingerprint scans:
1. Be sure you have:
- Your passport
- Entry permit visa with status changed

3. Follow instructions from the receptionist, do blood tests and Xray. Report will be sent to your email in 6-48 hours depending on the speed of the services you choose.
4. Visit any Federal Authority For Identity And Citizenship if you have not applied for Emirates ID during step 2
5. Do Emirates ID application in the nearest typing center
6. Do fingerprint scanning in case you apply for Emirates ID for the first time
7. Apply for the visa stamping

However, if you do not need to do fingerprint scans, just go to any medical center near your place.
