How to get the HAAD license

• Visit the HAAD website
• Log in with your accurate details or the UAE pass (this is mandatory to access the service)
• Create your own UID number 
• Submit the required documents in the dataflow website which you will be redirected to
• You will receive a completion notification based on the verification.
• You will have to submit the required documents through the available user management system (UMS)
• Crosscheck the documents and submit 
• Make the necessary payment for application
• Upon approval of the application, pay the issuance fee
• Print out the license when it's ready

You may be a bit confused on what the dataflow website means and what role it plays? The dataflow is simply the review process that is mandatory for obtaining the HAAD licence certificate. 

So, while following the steps above, you will be redirected to a page where you will submit all the required credentials. Once this is done, the review process begins. The review process involves contacting the issuing institutions of your uploaded documents. This protocol is simply to confirm the authenticity of your educational and professional documents. 

When your result is forwarded to the HAAD you proceed with the process if it's approved. But if the application is rejected, you may:

• Request for a crosscheck of your credential if any error has been corrected
• End the application process

HAAD exam schedule 

Exam is the final step to take while applying for the HAAD licence. 

After you have passed all the verification criteria:

• You will receive an exam authorization email from PearsonVue, outsourced test provider
• Then go back to your application page and click on “pay”
• Go to PearsonVue and book the exam with your username and password
• Select your preferred date, time and location of the exam based on available schedules
• Print out your booking slip or invoice and go with it to the test centre

3. Form no 2 (e-tarasol) copy
4. Emirates ID 
5. Experience certificate (copy)
6. Notice of appointment (nomination letter)
7. Certificate of good conduct
8. Experience certificate
9. Official logbook for the past 2 years (for surgeons)
10. Passport Photo 
11. Residency or transcript programme
12. Family book for the Emiratis

HAAD license costs

Renewal of the HAAD licence 

The HAAD licence is valid for 5 years starting from the date of issuance. Just like every other regulated professional licence, the HAAD licence must be renewed every 5 years. But it's advisable to commence the renewal process at least 6 months before the actual expiry date.
