What is TASHEEL?
As a resident of the UAE, you must have probably come across the word “TASHEEL'' or rather “Tas’heel” in the raw form. You find it mostly common while dealing with issues relating to resident visas.
TASHEEL is a government owned online system which was created with the sole aim of handling and providing remedy to any labour or employment related matters.
This system is managed by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE).

TASHEEL services

TASHEEL has service centers in all the Emirates of the UAE to solve labour related cases. It is also at these centres that the both parties appear for possible case resolution. So it isn't just online based.
These services now come in place to ensure that rights of the workers within the labour code are protected. Below are the services offered within the TASHEEL system.
Work permit services:
- Work Permit replacement
This is a process of replacing an employee who has a valid work permit with another employee without getting a new permit. This method ensures the company doesn't pay any extra fee. - Getting a temporary work permit
This system allows individuals (expats or UAE nationals) to work for a company for a short period limited to 6 months. Such a permit is provided by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE). - Cancellation of work visa
This happens when an employment visa gets cancelled either by the initiative of the employer or employee. - Relative sponsor permit
This is like a no-objection confirmation from your spouse during the work permit application.
